DTS-12 Turbidity Sensor

The DTS-12 is the world's best instream turbidity sensor.  It has been extensively proven in the field, typically exhibiting less than 2% annual drift, with high accuracy and ideal for long-term remote site deployment.  The DTS-12 is a nephelometer capable of measuring both forward and back scatter, featuring exceptional stability, the industry's most effective wiper system, and a combination of low-end accuracy with a wide dynamic range.  Suitable for drinking water reservoirs and sediment laden streams it has the dynamic range and sensitivity for a wide variety of applications.

DTS-12 FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Exceptional long term measurement stability with a 12 month recalibration interval
  • Superior accuracy at the low end and over a wide dynamic range (0 to 1600 NTU)
  • Best self-cleaning wiper
  • Laser based 90 degree nephelometer sensor
  • Shallow water capability
  • SDI-12 digital output
  • Internally stored calibration coefficients and statistical data processing
  • Measures turbidity and temperature

The unique, self-cleaning bi-directional wiper enables the DTS-12 to maintain accurate readings when other turbidity sensors would become fouled. The wiper is self-cleaning - two grooves in the face of the optics-head act as anti-fouling scrapers each time the wiper is activated. The design of the angled head sheds bubbles and simplifies mounting and siting in shallow locations.
