FTS offers a range of maintenance and support services so that you can choose the arrangements that make the most sense for your situation. Our service and sales staff are strongly committed to ensuring that your system is fully operational and that you have the knowledge you need to run your station or network effectively. We encourage all of our customers to call us if there is something they do not understand or if something does not seem to be working correctly. Telephone Support: All FTS customers receive free unlimited technical phone support for hardware and software. In most cases, we have the ability to contact your monitoring station directly from our service depot and provide thorough diagnostic support at no charge. Basic Warranty: Everything we ship out of the factory comes with a 1 year return-to-factory warranty, with the exception of a few consumable parts such as the sensing component in the humidity sensor. Service Contracts: Everything we sell is eligible for long term maintenance contracts that cover any problems you might encounter. In addition to an annual re-calibration and service check at our service depot, we also stock emergency spares of most equipment so that we can get you back up and running within a matter of days if necessary. Installation Services: Although installation of most systems is straightforward there are cases where installation may be more complex than can be conveniently handled by the client on their own. FTS can provide quotations for custom installation services. Training: Comprehensive software and hardware training services range from several hours free of charge when a sales person is on-site through to paid-for seminars of several days duration at the factory or on-site depending on your needs. Special training is rarely required unless the customer is supporting a large network and needs advanced troubleshooting skills or is going to carry out detailed hardware maintenance on their own.
