RD-05 Remote Display
The RD-05 remote site display is intended for permanent outdoor use. Enclosed in a rugged powder coated, cast aluminum case with a weatherproof membrane key pad, the large LCD display allows you to view your weather data on site without taking a laptop computer into the field.

The RD-05 can be used to set the time of your datalogger and access information about the health of your weather stations such as battery voltage or a GOES antenna alignment.

Flexible mounting system for use either in the standard datalogger mast housing or inside the FTS weatherproof cabinet normally supplied with communication based stations.

The RD-05 is also a useful tool for customers who have more than one FTS weather station in their organization, region or local area. A single RD-05 can be moved from site to site, when required, as a service tool. NOTE: The RD-05 will not work with the FWS-12 datalogger unit.

An invaluable optional component of the FTS Quick Deploy station, the RD-05 display unit allows all levels of fire deployment people to operate the station and view data in seconds. For fixed site locations, and where the weather station is adjacent to a site facility such as an office or workshop area, it is possible for the RD-05 to be located inside a building, allowing visual access to the weather station’s data, on demand.
