RMX

What is the RMX?

The RMX is the latest generation of rugged, field deployable radio modem designed to communicate with FTS remote fire weather, and environmental monitoring stations and networks.

RMX Features

  • With its “configurable station ID”, programming your station clusters is greatly simplified. FTS will pre-program to your precise requirements prior to shipping.
  • Operates on any of your standard or existing VHF or UHF radio frequencies, at 12.5 or 25 kHz.
  • Compatible with all your existing FTS "dial up" components and technology.
  • Compatible with Globalstar satellite technology. If a Globalstar transceiver is installed in a RMX station cluster anywhere in North America, that cluster can be polled via Globalstar, and the data retrieved at up to 9600 bps.
  • Can have up to eight programmed frequencies, selectable from the RMX front panel.
  • Your data retrieval call success will be higher than ever, thanks to new built-in error correction routines.
  • Station and cluster troubleshooting is simplified, via a series of lights built into the RMX front panel.
