WM680 Advanced Handheld Wind Monitor

The WM680 Advanced Handheld Wind Monitor measures current wind speed, 2 and 10 minute average speeds, wind run and peak gust.  It consists of an anemometer coupled to a digital display.

The WM680 supports metal anemometers for durability and low starting threshold or plastic anemometers for transportability and lowest cost.  These anemometers can be either handheld or mast-mounted.  The WM680 features a large character display and a membrane keypad for selecting readings in miles per hour, kilometers per hour, meters per second or knots.

The anemometer and its cable terminate in a 7 pin mini-DIN plug.  Cable lengths of up to 120 feet (36m) are supported with battery operation.  A shielded UV-resistant cable transmits the signal between the anemometer and display.
