FTS water quality and hydrologic sensors are designed for continuous monitoring and to withstand harsh conditions found in streams and rivers. All water monitoring sensors use the SDI-12 digital protocol which eliminates many problems inherent to analog sensors. Combined with weather sensors, such as a rain gauge or all season precipitation, hydrologists are able to relate changing water conditions to weather conditions.

DTS-12 Turbidity Sensor
The Digital DTS-12 features high accuracy, excellent thermal and long-term stability, and nearly linear response over three orders of magnitude.  Effective in low water levels and sensitive to low levels of turbidity while still retaining a wide absolute range, the Digital DTS-12 is the result of four years of research, engineering development and product testing.

Float Gauge
(Measures Depth)
The float gauge is ideal for measuring water level where a stilling well exists or is easy to construct.

Autosampler
A programmable liquid sampler designed to collect up to 24 separate water samples. Sampling can be triggered by any parameter that is being measured at the site.

Submersible Pressure Transducer
(Measures Depth)
This submersible sensor has fast acting temperature compensation and has been specifically designed to provide repeatable precision depth measurements.

sdi samplerSDI Sampler Interface
SDI control interface for portable samplers.

rgtRain Gauge
The RG-T Rain Gauge features a chemically milled tipper bucket for consistent balance and easy calibration.  The tipper bucket pivots on shock-mounted jeweled bearings providing a sensitive yet rugged low friction pivot.
Water Quality
Multi-Parameter Probe
Measures conductivity and temperature (dissolved oxygen, pH, level and REDOX can be added).  The probe can be used 200 feet below the water's surface or in as little as a few inches of water.
