The
float gauge is ideal for measuring water level where a stilling well
exists or is easy to construct.
- The float gauge consists of a shaft
encoder with a pulley which measures incremental changes in water level.
- The float gauge is most appropriate where large fluctuations in water
level exist, as it will not lose resolution or accuracy over long lengths.
- The mode of measurement is incremental above and below a set zero-point.
The sensor consumes minimal power.
