The THS-3 is a high quality, precision temperature and humidity sensor housed in a durable solar radiation shield. This shield consists of 6 UV resistant Kydex louvers that provide excellent shielding from direct or reflected sunlight or rain, yet permit full natural flow of ambient air past the sensors.

Internal electronics are fully protected in a waterproof "O" ring sealed aluminum tube. The temperature and humidity sensing elements are covered by an easily replaceable stainless steel filter for maximum protection from airborne contaminants.

The THS-3 mounts to a corrosion resistant anodized aluminum mounting arm which clamps directly to a weather station mast, providing a lightweight yet rugged sensor support. The connecting cable from the THS-3 is fitted with a color-coded waterproof military style bayonet connector for ease of service and reliable, long term operation.

Existing THS "1" and "2000" series sensors can be upgraded to the THS-3. Call the factory for details.
