Optimized for remote site use, our system's unique feature set combines comprehensive measurement capabilities with FTS's legendary ease-of-use and durability.

  • The datalogger is actually waterproof (it floats).
  • Military style bayonet connectors are colour coded.
  • No on-site wiring required.
  • Dedicated digital SDI-12 ports so that calibration constants are not required - sensor swaps can be done in the field.
  • Datalogger is delivered preprogrammed, features auto-restart and no program loss in the event of power interruptions.
  • Power efficiency allows for months of standby with our Power Manager.

FTS water monitoring stations are used to track water quality, forecast water availability and model the dynamics of mountain hydrology.  Streamside monitoring stations can measure stage, flow, water temperature, turbidity, conductivity, pH and dissolved oxygen.

These sites are normally solar powered and use some form of remote communications to relay the data to an office. StreamTrac software provides complete data collection, management, analysis and presentation.

FTS Hydrologic stations are delivered as a complete, ready-to-go system. Everything required to collect, manage, and analyze your data is provided. If you need additional support, our sales and service team are qualified for everything from setting up software to installation and maintenance training.
