The RMX is a rugged, field deployable radio modem for FTS environmental monitoring stations and networks.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Provides fast two-way communication with FTS environmental monitoring stations for data collection and system diagnostics
• Eliminates the cost of telephone lines or commercial satellite
• Operates on any standard VHF or UHF radio frequency, at 12.5 or 25 kHz spacing
  Can be used in combination with FTS Globalstar satellite modems to provide satellite access to an RMX station cluster throughout North America. Can have up to eight programmed frequencies, selectable from the RMX front panel
• Designed for permanent installation in harsh environments: housed in a waterproof, ‘O’ ring sealed, cast aluminum case with waterproof, military style connectors

An RMX network requires a licensed radio channel provided by the system operator.
